This week in school we learned about copyright. Now everyone thinks that everything on the internet is free.I'm here to tell you your wrong.

The rest of this post will be about the daily stuff we have learned this week.We learned that you must pay that person for their picture or idea and not take it from them. Only creative work you find online can be used by everyone. That you must use a creative commons picture and a public domain picture (info in prezi above) the same. Always give Info about the story, picture,idea, etc. with the site name and date.

We found out what and what is not okay to copy off the internet. We learned about Prezi and made our first ones( mine is above). The only bad part is I can no longer take pictures off Google without permission.
(P.S I will try to post some photos sometime this week.)
I really like that you said "violate copyright," rather than just saying breaking the law, and i also liked that you used some real life examples for this post.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like it when you said "Everyone knows what copyright is, that we can't take someones ideas", It seams like it is to played out. You could have said, "Everyone knows what copyright is, and that it is a way creators or authors protect there work".
The 3rd to 4th sentence under the Prezi, "... can be used by everyone. That you must use..." I would have probably put a semi colon because "That" shouldn't be the start of the 4th sentence, it should be in the same sentence even though it was a different subject.
