Real Life RoboCops

Imagine the Robocop we have all come to love in films, on our streets at home. A project in the works called Telebot is that cop. It was created to help disabled cops continue their work while being disabled. Using specialized sensors as controllers, it allows the human to look, move, and listen to the robots surroundings. Not only does this help the work Although the article admitted that "it's nowhere near as advanced as the tech depicted in the movie" it is still nothing to laugh at.

I think this deeply connects to our world and how we view it. Imagine a world where officers get another chance to be in the field and help those around him. This research and invention could help lead to much more than helping officers, but help create a safer future. It can also connect to the future where this research could make Robocops the number one force on the street.

I think this connects to me personally in many ways beyond the scope of our thinking. I have always wanted there to be a world where we wouldn't have to worry about officers or emergency personnel being harmed on the streets. This tech could help replace and make officers better in the field and help make our streets even better to live within. But that is just me personally, but I could see others being more excited and excepting of this new technology.
